Back and forth stories regarding the US/Canada trade negotiations. No deal is done yet, a report came out the sides had ended negotiations. Now there is word that talks ended today but the sides agreed to try again next week.
Market sluggish all session, trading mixed with tech higher, large cap NYSE flat to slightly negative.
Trade is the story heading to the weekend but the indices are handling it, basically a bit winded after a good run. The action overall is pretty solid and it is upside positive.
GOOG is off 1.9%, AMZN +0.45%, AAPL +1.2%, NVDA +1% -- the same leaders are performing. GOOG tried to move up to leadership, getting hit today.
President just notified Congress he was ready to sign the deal with Mexico, AND with Canada if Canada is willing. Lots of maneuvering going on to try and wrap the deal.

We are not doing much today given the 3-day weekend and that most are holding up very well. GOOG is an issue as is BA. Willing to let them move through the weekend and see how they come out.
