Just a mushy, pre-holiday session thus far with the stock indices mixed with a bias, ever so slight, toward tech.
SP500 -6.39, -0.24%
NASDAQ 8.63, 0.12%
DJ30 53.62, -0.22%
SP400 -0.23%
RUTX -0.14%
SOX 0.87%
After the news deluge to start the session, the afternoon story is the Trump Administration responding to the NKorea 'anytime, anywhere' statement with a "we are talking to them now" regarding the summit. There you go. Not even 24 hours and back on track.
AMZN is a bit interesting but not that interesting today. BCRX is over the entry point, but that is after it gave back a big chunk of a gain. Want to see how that plays out Tuesday. Just not a lot of movement for new entries.
Modest gains from the likes of DATA, NOW, NVDA while oil stocks were slammed. They are limping back up some late, but a lot of damage done and we got out of most early session.
3-day weekend with Memorial Day holiday. It is also graduation weekend for many, including us. I will be celebrating my middle child's matriculation and off to college and the next stage of his high jump career. In other words, I am taking a bit of time with him. Will get some new plays for us as well.
