EARNINGS: 01/24/2017
STATUS: FCX surged Wednesday on rising, average volume as it comes off a 5 week test of the November rally. This pullback tested FCX' break higher past the October 2015, May 2016, and July 2016 highs. Indeed it came right back to test those levels and gapped upside Wednesday. FCX has plenty of room to run and we want to play the move even with earnings coming near the end of January. Good start to the move and we will see what kind of pre-earnings run it can mine.
